Frequently asked questions
Is SkyTrain running right now?
The status strip on this page shows the current state of the Expo, Millennium and Canada Lines, SeaBus and West Coast Express from TransLink's live service alerts. Normal service means no active alerts.
Does this map show real SkyTrain positions?
Positions are estimated from the timetable. TransLink does not publish live GPS data for trains, so VanTransit shows where each train should be according to the schedule. Bus positions, by contrast, are live.
How often does SkyTrain run?
SkyTrain typically runs every 2 to 5 minutes at peak times on the Expo and Millennium Lines and every 3 to 6 minutes on the Canada Line, with longer gaps early morning and late evening. Tap a station for exact next-train times.
What are the SkyTrain hours?
Trains generally run from about 5 am until just after 1 am Monday to Saturday, with a later start and earlier finish on Sundays and holidays. The first and last train at each station is in that station's timetable on VanTransit.
